| Alberto Savioli received the B.Sc.
and M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Pavia, Italy, in
2005 and 2009, respectively.
Since 2009, he has been a Research Assistant at the Telecommunications
and Remote Sensing Laboratory at the University of Pavia, where he is a
Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Electronics, Computer Science, and
Electrical Engineering. Starting from February 2011 he has been in the
Laboratory for Information and Decision Systems (LIDS) at Massachusetts
Institute of Technology (MIT) as a Visiting Student. His research
interests are Wireless Sensor Networks for Localization Systems and
Environmental and Structural Monitoring. Currently he is working on the
implementation of a localization system based on 802.15.4a (UWB) radios.
