Yuan Shen received his B.S. degree in 2005 from Tsinghua University,
China, and S.M. degree in 2008 from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
(MIT), Cambridge, both in Electrical Engineering. He is currently a
Ph.D. candidate with the Laboratory for Information and Decision Systems
(LIDS) at MIT. His research interests include wideband cooperative localization,
cooperative communication, ultrawide bandwidth propagation channel estimation,
and quantum communication.
During 2003 and 2005, he was with the Intelligent Transportation Information
System Laboratory of Tsinghua University, where he worked on statistical
signal and image processing. Since then, he worked on wideband cooperative
localization for his master's. Yuan Shen received first-class scholarship
for four consecutive years during 2001-2004 and graduated with highest
honors from Tsinghua University in 2005. He received the Walter A. Rosenblith
Presidential Fellowship from MIT in 2005 and the Best Paper Award from
the IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (WCNC) in
2007.
